I am plagued by the fear of communism and radical Islamic terrorism.

And war monger Texans
I see Texans, known for their love of guns, as people who can't wait to engage in war.

Are still trying to ruin my life
These groups are sources of anxiety for me and I feel like they are causing me personal harm.

And all the kings horses
Even the most powerful leaders and nations can't seem to solve their problems.

The children of leaders are often not up to the task of leadership themselves.

Ain't never in all of their glorious battles
Wars, no matter how heroic they may seem, never actually solve anything in the grand scheme of things.

Solved anything with a gun
Violence is never the answer and only leads to more trouble.

It's just not possible to solve complex issues through brute force and weapons.

You're just askin for it
If you pursue violent methods, you are only inviting more trouble and conflict.

Violence and destruction decrease the quality of life for everyone, no matter who they are.

I am not going to help anyone who is intent on causing trouble and harm to others.

Many violent conflicts are justified by claiming that they are necessary for the spread of democracy.

Or it's all in the name of the state
Sometimes, governments use violence to maintain power and control over their citizens.

But you can name it your mammy
People will use any excuse to justify their violent behavior.

Name it when I'm through
Even if people try to justify their violent behavior, it will never truly solve anything.

You know it all works out the same
No matter what people try to do with violence, the end result is always destruction and harm.

Anyone who still thinks violence is the answer is not thinking clearly.

The escalation of conflict only leads to more and more destructive weapons being used.
