In 2009, the band headed in a new direction walking away from full-length productions, releasing their first single, "El Experimento", the first release since Magia coinciding with the twenty-year celebrations. With a much mature, international, and alternative sound, the band once again topped the radio charts across the Dominican Republic. After a successful return they released three more single to date: "Salta", "Alcohol y Celular", and "Vivo" accompanied with touring through the Northeastern United States and the Dominican Republic.
Throughout their existence, they have been domestically successful with several singles topping the charts in their native Dominican Republic in addition to playing numerous gigs in Santo Domingo, New York and other cities where the Dominican diaspora is centered but have enjoyed little international success.
