The band consists of lead vocalist Jeremy Bolm, guitarists Clayton Stevens and Nick Steinhardt, with Tyler Kirby on bass guitar and drummer Elliot Babin. They have released five studio albums and several EPs. The band's debut ...To the Beat of a Dead Horse was released in 2009, followed by Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me in 2011. On September 24, 2013, their third full length, Is Survived By was released. Most recently, the band released Lament, the follow up to their highly acclaimed 2016 release Stage Four, in 2020 through Epitaph Records. Touché Amoré are noted for their honest and confessional lyrics, for fusing influences from Converge, Raein, La Quiete and Pg.99 and for being a part of screamo revival. The band has also been credited as being a part of a self-proclaimed group of post-hardcore bands called "The Wave", with fellow post-hardcore bands Defeater, La Dispute, Make Do and Mend and Pianos Become the Teeth. But Bolm considers The Wave as less specific and also includes bands Tigers Jaw, Title Fight, Balance and Composure, Former Thieves and Into It. Over It..

This album came out like 2 weeks before my daughter was born. I got obsessed and was blasting this album at 3AM on the way to the hospital with my GF to have our baby. 1.5 years later I had the baby in the car with me and wanted to put something on so that she wouldnt fall asleep (if you're a parent you know). My 1.5 year old daughter was giggling and singing along to the whole album and it melted my heart. This song/album is absolute fucking poetry and I'm so thankful I found it. This video is perfect and hits me in the feels every time. Cant wait to see them live.

saw them in Tallinn a few days ago and i can't express how amazing this is to finally be able to see someone from a different side of the world and someone who i've been listening to for years to play here. they gave such an amazing performance and went just as hard for a small crowd as they seem to be doing on the biggest of shows (judging by the videos). i am very thankful to have experienced this and it will be stuck in my memory as the greatest show i've been to, at least so far. thank you Touché Amoré, from the bottom of my heart, much love from Estonia.
