Ben Marotta, who had contributed guitar parts on the tracks "Elaine" and "Parade" on the debut record, joined the band as live guitarist and became a full time member contributing guitar and synth parts to the 2004 remix EP, "...But the Girl’s the Same". While Sam and George had the opportunity to remix other artists, including Hungry Lucy and Amish Rake Fight, they decided to experiment with minimalist techno variations of their own tracks, which lead to the release of the BTGTS EP, which in addition to their own mixes included mixes by Chris Randall of Sister Machine Gun, War-N of Hungry Lucy, Rob Wentz of Monstrum Sepsis, Charles Sadler and Jonathan Ford (Little Tin Box/in.Flect/Aurascape/Stellar Vector) and Daniel Cane of Terminal Bliss. The EP also featured the minimalistic techno/glitch track "Play Nice".
The band continued as a four piece, relying heavily on electronic backing. From 2003 to early 2006 the band performed a number of local and regional performances with a variety of other acts including Hungry Lucy, Terminal Bliss, the Atomica Project, Little Tin Box, Decadent, HMB, Mercurine, Rachael’s Surrender and many others.
Trigger 10d began work on their second album in 2005, but changed directions early in the process. Layer upon Layer of synths, loops and samples dominated the bands debut, but the members wanted to try their hand at creating a indie rock record, with a more live sound. The band traded their sampled loops for more guitars, live bass and drums. John Francimore joined the band for the recording process and several performances between 2006 and 2010. The addition of live percussion was an invigorating creative force that redefined the band’s sound as a cohesive group. The sophmore album was written and recorded between 2006 and 2009. The album was mixed by Sam Beckley of Gremlen Studios and will be released on WTII Records. The self titled disc features 10 new songs including the alternative rock tracks "A-List" and "Misplaced", the dark dance oriented "PuddleHopping" and the moody, epic "Skies Gone Dark".
The first single, "A-List" showcases the harder edgier sound of "Trigger 10d". Fans can expect additional singles, alternative electronic mixes, remixes, a B-side, and new video in the months ahead.

What he's talking about
Validate his drunken shouts
I'm gonna let him have half the gig
I'm gonna walk these boots all over him
Why is it that I don't know you
After all the shit that we've been through
Love is a silly game
I wanna feel light when I wake
I wanna levitate
I'm gonna rise until I reach the sun
And shit fire down on everyone...
It seems like a lifetime ago
It hurts me to have to say
So there's a lot of shit that you don't get
You don't make me feel
A serpent loves a game of chance
In this type of circumstance
Let me walk you to the door
I can't be yours anymore
I'm gonna ride the fucking rail
I'm gonna give him what he gave
I'm gonna have the last laugh
I'm gonna wave the parade
Let me go
I will run away
I can't see any other way
I don't know where I'm going to
I have been letting go of you
I don't wanna cry
I wanna fly...away
The lyrics of "Parade" by Trigger 10d are introspective and filled with raw emotions. The song seems to be about a relationship that has ended and the singer is grappling with the pain and confusion that comes with it. The opening lines, "I'm gonna pretend to know what he's talking about, validate his drunken shouts," suggest that the singer is trying to sugarcoat the situation and avoid confronting the truth. They want to believe that the relationship isn't over and are willing to put up with drunken behavior to maintain the illusion that things are okay.
As the song progresses, the singer becomes more assertive and begins to take control of the situation. They state that they will "let him have half the gig" and "walk these boots all over him." This shows a shift in power dynamics, with the singer taking charge and asserting their independence. However, the line "Love is a silly game, I wish that we could stay the same" reveals that despite this new confidence, they are still struggling to come to terms with the end of the relationship.
The chorus of the song is particularly striking as it shows the singer's desire for freedom and escape from the pain of the situation. They want to "feel light when I wake, I wanna levitate" and "rise until I reach the sun and shit fire down on everyone." These lyrics show a sense of anger and frustration but also a yearning for release and the ability to move on.
Overall, "Parade" is a powerful and emotional song that explores the complexities of relationships and the pain of letting go. The lyrics highlight the internal struggles of someone dealing with heartbreak and the need to find inner strength to move forward.
