Væring started her musical journey on the Scandinavian Jazzscene with 5 acoustic albums in English with Scandinavian jazzmasters such as Bobo Stenson, Mads Vinding og Alex Riel in her bands. From the album Trespassing, an originally angled fusion of the singer-songwriter tradition and contemporary art-rock, injected with a touch of modern jazz , Væring started to change her musical course.
For her new album Lystfisker, she has written a handful of strong pop/rock songs about a grown-up woman somewhere on the winding roads of love. Lystfisker is released sept. 08.
