Read Full Bio ↴Truckfighters is a stoner rock band from Örebro, Sweden, formed in 2001.
After releasing several demos in 2001 and 2002, they recorded a split-EP with local Swedish band Firestone in 2003. In 2005 they released their debut album Gravity X on both MeteorCity Records and Fuzzorama Records. Their follow-up album, Phi, was released in 2007 by Poison Tree Records in the U.S. and on the Fuzzorama label elsewhere. Their latest album, V, was released on September 30, 2016.
Their sound has been described as classic desert rock, similar to bands like Dozer, Fu Manchu (with whom they have toured), and Kyuss. They have been featured on the MTV Sweden show "Fuzz"
The film Truckfighters by Joerg Steineck and Christian Maciejewski portrays the band's life. It was released in December 2011 and features interviews with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. The film provides an ironic, entertaining view of the three "ordinary" guys who transform into Fuzz Monsters onstage.

Truckfighters Lyrics

He goes in with frighten and scary sound
The sons of Garvey is a part
Of the life and his heart
He felt so good
Starts to rise as a god
But soon it must be a flood
Looking for reaction
We turn the pages all around
And What do we find, close your eyes
Violence and fear, growing to be their career.
We are frozen by
The sight of them all
Hope is gone last resort
We are frozen by The sight of them all
When they spread Sickness within themselves
Will you lose your breath when the curtain is closed
Walking down the streets of death
Left without any streak
Or the hope of the salvation
The lyrics to Truckfighters' song "Majestic" depict a scene of violence and fear that has become a part of someone's life and heart. The singer goes to the scene of action with a frighten and scary sound, feeling powerful and god-like. However, the mood soon changes as the violence and fear become a career for those involved. The lyrics ask the listener to close their eyes and look for a different reaction, but the sight of the violence freezes them in place. The song ends with a warning of the consequences of being left without hope or salvation.
The lyrics speak to the numbing effect of violence and how it can become a part of someone's identity. The singer initially feels empowered by the violence and seeks it out, but ultimately realizes the destructive nature of it. The lyrics also suggest a call to action, asking the listener to look for a different reaction to violence and not become complacent in its presence. The warning at the end of the song reinforces the idea that there are real and lasting consequences to the perpetuation of violence.

We are frozen by
We are paralyzed from
The sight of them all
The view of them collectively
Hope is gone last resort
There is no hope left as a final option
When they spread Sickness within themselves
When they infect each other with their sickness
Will you lose your breath when the curtain is closed
Will you be left breathless when it's all over
Walking down the streets of death
Wandering the thoroughfares of demise
Left without any streak
With no achievements or successes
Or the hope of the salvation
And no prospect of redemption
