Turk, who's real name is Önder Doğan was born in Amsterdam-Noord. While he was still in his childhood, the family moved to Madrid, Istanbul and at last to Eindhoven. Back in the Netherlands he started writing his own raps, and joined "Militant Union" with who he participated at the Grote Prijs van Nederland. Later on he met SpaceKees in a coffeeshop, and they started recording. SpaceKees even asked Turk to join him and Jiggy Djé on stage as backup-MC.
In 2008 his first EP was ready, entitled Turkse Pizza. This EP, produced by SirOJ, features raps from SpaceKees, Jiggy Djé, Heist Rockah, Willie Wartaal en Vieze Fur. Later that year he released the Beondekijkuit mixtape and "De Kassier: Een Monnie Album" in 2009 where he's currently working on with FS Green. Next to his solo carreer, he started Bang Bros with Hoogvliet rapper Hef.

Turk, born Tab Virgil, Jr. in 1981 in New Orleans, Louisiana, is an African-American rapper, member of the hip hop group Hot Boys
Turk was first discovered in 1996 when he was rapping for Cash Money Records (brothers Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Baby” Williams ) Later that same year, he made his debut with a cameo on Juvenile’s solo debut, “Solja Rags”. He was welcomed into the newly formed Hot Boys (who also included Juvenile, B.G., and Lil’ Wayne), issuing “Get It How You Live!” in 1997 and “Guerilla Warfare” (which would eventually go platinum) two years later.
He continued to make cameos on other rapper’s recordings, including Juvenile’s big hits “400 Degreez” and “Tha G-Code”, Lil’ Wayne’s “Tha Block Is Hot” and “Lights Out”, as well as B.G.’s “It’s All on You, Vol. 1” and “It’s All on You, Vol. 2”. June 2001 saw the release of Turk’s solo debut, “Young and Thuggin’” on Universal Records. His first solo album also coincided with the dissolution of the Hot Boys and the departure of B.G. and Juvenile from the Cash Money label over a royalties dispute with CEO Bryan Williams . While He cut another album, “Untamed Guerilla”, for Cash Money as a follow-up to “Young and Thuggin’” but it was never released as he became embroiled in a similar contractual conflict as Juvenile and B.G.
In 2003, Turk followed B.G. to Koch Records, where he recorded “Raw and Uncut”, technically his second solo album.
Turk is currently serving a sentence of 10 years for attempted murder on a federal agent during a drug raid.

I need your affection i need you near
Nostalgia's playing again
The way you hold me close
'Cause I'm trippin', fallin'
Aching for you to change
Can't handle anymore
There's something about the way you (oohh)
Make me lose control
'Cause I'm trippin', fallin'
Aching for you to stay can't handle anymore
Come take a ride with me
Take a ride with me in my SUV
Gotta steal your heart again
I need your attention i need you here
I need your affection i need you near
Oy, oy, oy, oy, oy, oy ohh, ohh
Oy, oy, oy, oy, oy, oy ohh, ohh
Your endless devotion keeps me up in space
Your heartless emotions
Drowns me in distaste
Come take a ride with me
Take a ride with me in my SUV
Gotta steal your heart again
I need your attention i need you here
I need your affection i need you near
Hol' up, hol' up, take it slow
Don't you wanna be the one to take
Me to your senior prom yeah?
Hol' up, hol' up, take it slow
Won't you please, yeah, uh- unblock
Me from your instagram, yeah
Gotta steal your heart again
I need your attention (I need your attention)
I need you here (I need your affection)
I need your affection (I need ya, I need ya)
I need you near (yeah, yeah)
I need your attention
(Can I get your attention?)
I need you here (Can I get your affection?)
I need your affection i need you near
But whatever yeah, like whatever
It's whatever it's whatever
In the first verse, the singer expresses their longing for someone's attention, affection, and presence. They feel a strong desire for this person to change and stay with them because they can no longer handle the current situation. The nostalgia of past experiences together intensifies these emotions, reminding them of how close they used to be.
The chorus highlights the power that this person holds over the singer. They have the ability to make the singer lose control and feel like they are falling and tripping. Despite the pain caused by this person, the singer still aches for their presence and cannot handle being without them.
The second verse describes the impact of this person's love and dedication. Their unfailing devotion elevates the singer, making them feel as if they are floating in space. However, the lack of emotional reciprocation from this person leaves the singer feeling overwhelmed and disgusted.
The bridge introduces a shift in tone, reflecting a more playful and whimsical mood. The singer suggests taking a ride in their SUV and alludes to stealing this person's heart again. It seems like a desperate attempt to rekindle the relationship and regain their attention and affection.
The final repetition of the chorus and the outro, "But whatever yeah, like whatever, It's whatever," convey a sense of resignation and acceptance. The singer acknowledges that despite their yearning for this person, they are willing to accept whatever outcome or response they receive. Whether it is positive or negative, the singer is ultimately resigned to whatever happens next.
