The lyrics to Two and a Half White Guys's song "Mr. Clean" revolve around themes of power, wealth, loyalty, and dominance. The opening lines, "I got a case of the ace, three five to the face, Teflon with the base, these hoes making it shake" suggest the singer's indulgence in drugs and the accompanying hedonistic lifestyle. They may be using substances to project a sense of invincibility and confidence (represented by the term "Teflon") while attracting attention from women.
The line "Mr. Clean shine on the floor, diamonds hitting on 'em, never put a bitch before your dough" is a declaration of prioritizing financial gain over romantic relationships. It advises against prioritizing love interests who may distract or hinder one's pursuit of material success. The singer emphasizes the importance of wealth and the need to protect it, potentially hinting at a ruthless and self-centered mindset.
The following lines mention the willingness to resort to violence to maintain dominance, as indicated by the phrase "You trippin' homie, these niggas get out of line, we got them switches for 'em, 50 rounds, 100 rounds, applying pressure on 'em." This suggests the singer has access to weapons and is prepared to use them should their authority or territory be challenged. They are unapologetic about their aggressive tactics and assert that their associates are ready to back them up ("my nigga steppin' for me").
The final paragraph reinforces the themes of material wealth and power. The references to trap culture ("I'm in the trap and I'm makin' it quake"), luxurious dining ("boss status, lobster steak on the plate"), and indifference towards conventional dating ("No, I don't go on no dates") portray the singer as someone who values their own personal success over traditional societal norms.
Overall, "Mr. Clean" portrays a character who is ruthless in their pursuit of money and power, unafraid to resort to violence if needed, and prioritizes material wealth over romantic relationships and personal connections. The lyrics convey a sense of dominance and a "no-nonsense" attitude, characterized by a focus on money, an aggressive demeanor, and a disregard for societal norms.
