He was mainly brought into the spotlight through his brother, famous YouTuber and singer Troye Sivan.

Tyde released his official debut single, Goldchains on June 21, 2018. The track was instantly met with great reception from fans and critics. Tyde has still not given an official release date for a possible debut album.
