One of his biggest achievement's was being voted a top six national finalist in the hit show The Next GAC Star on the network GAC (Great American Country). As a finalist Tyler was flown to Nashville twice for a two part televised finale to compete for a Gibson Hummingbird Guitar and a record deal with Original Signal Recordings. Unfortunately he didnt make top four, but he knew that this was a big step being as he was only 18 years old at the time, and he knew it was a once in a lifetime experience!
