Tyler James Lyrics

I don't wanna believe that this could be the day
I don't wanna reach out
Just to have it all taken away
Got one foot in the door
But I can't face my fears if I'm looking back
I can't hide anymore
Turn , I turn
I gotta be brave (x3)
And though I'm afraid
To fall in the plain
It's my life that I shape
Now it's a time for me to be brave
It can't hurt just to hope
Like my heart's trying to break out through my chest
Wanting something so bad
Makes it hard just to take the first step and
Turn , I turn
I gotta be brave (x3)
And though I'm afraid
To fall in the plain
It's my life that I shape
Now it's a time for me to be brave
This is up to me and nobody else
It's my chance to feel better
So I say a little pray of myself
This is now or never
Oh I take a proper look at myself
And everything that I've learned
And turn (x7)
I gotta be brave (x3)
And though I'm afraid
To fall in the plain
It's my life that I shape
Now it's a time for me to be brave
The lyrics of Tyler James’ song “Brave” express feelings of uncertainty and fear in the face of an opportunity for change. The singer is hesitant to take the necessary steps towards a new direction, fearful of the possibility of failure or disappointment. However, he acknowledges that avoiding these risks is not leading to any positive outcomes and that it is time to be brave and take control of his own life. He implores himself to step out of his comfort zone, reminding himself that he shapes his own destiny, and that he must embrace this moment of change to create a better future for himself.
The lyrics are relatable for anyone who has struggled to work up the courage to pursue their dreams. The mention of “heart trying to break out through my chest” and “wanting something so bad” show the intensity of the singer’s desires, despite feeling apprehensive. The repetition of the phrase “I gotta be brave” throughout the chorus serves both as a reminder to himself and an anthem for others who need to summon their own bravery.
Overall, the lyrics of “Brave” are a powerful message to those who feel stuck or afraid to take risks. The song urges them to believe in themselves and take a leap of faith toward a better future.
