Typewriter are a four peice rock band founded by former Brontosaurus Chorus guitarist Matthew Curtis based upon his long running solo project. Comparisions have been drawn to Magazine, Interpol, Joy Division and Muse. It would appear that this band is now defunct.

Live Typewriter shows would feature many characters in costume, puppets and accompanying video sequences to create a multimedia experience.
