Ooh, baby, ooh, yeah
Oh, whoa, yeah
Talk to me, baby
There's a rhyme and a reason
For the rise and the fall of your eyes
I feel the heat in believing
Every hour in the dead of night
I want you now, White-Lightning Woman
Come on, let me burn in your fire
Don't worry, I don't need love
I only wanna feel your young desire
Oh, you gotta wind me up
And don't hold back
Until you're tight enough
Kill a little time with me
Turn the key
You gotta wind me up
Wind me up, wind me up
Move for me, sister
I love the way you shake
When you know it's driving me insane
I want the curve of your hips
And the pout on your lips
See me hanging on the edge of a chain
You are the tide, Hurricane Wild Honey
Come on, let me dive in your deep blue sea, yeah
Don't worry, I don't mean love
I mean you gotta get wild with me
Oh, you gotta wind me up
And don't hold back
It's never tight enough
Kill a little time with me
Turn the key
You gotta wind me up
Wind me up, wind me up
Don't think about tomorrow
No memories of yesterday
Just live in the moment, baby
Where eternity fades away
Talk to me, baby
There's a rhyme and a reason
For the rise and the fall of your eyes
I feel the heat in believing
Your touch is what I need
Every hour in the dead of night
Come on, baby, wind me up
And don't hold back
Until it's tight enough
Kill a little time with me
Turn the key
You gotta wind me up
Wind me up, wind me up
Wind me up
And don't hold back
Until it's tight enough
Come on, kill a little time with me
Turn the key
You gotta wind me up
Wind me up, wind me up
Wind me up, ooh, baby
Wind me up
Wind me up
The lyrics to "Wind Me Up" by Unruly Child seem to describe a passionate and intense romantic encounter between two individuals. The singer is calling out to his lover to "wind him up," meaning to excite him and ignite his desire. He's not looking for love, but rather just the thrill of being with this person. The verses describe the physical and emotional effects of being with them and how the singer craves their touch and attention. He's urging his partner to let go and be wild with him, to live in the moment and forget about everything else.
The chorus repeats the phrase "wind me up" like a mantra, emphasizing the urgency and intensity of the situation. The bridge encourages the listener to forget about the past and future, and to focus solely on the present moment with their partner. The overall tone of the song is one of passion, hunger, and a desire for physical and emotional connection.

If you dig the album version...I recommend you check out a live performance from what appears to be (although I'm uncertain) a soundstage or warehouse practice session from the early 90s. I'll refrain from posting a link as I don't want it marked as spam....but search youtube for "Unruly Child - Wind Me Up (Live)"
