Up Front Lyrics

So sure
Friends you knew, or so you thought, changed, faded, lost
I guess it's hard not to change with the times, the world closes in, nowhere to
Hide
Like seasons of the year, things come and go without warning
What was once in front of you now lags far behind, lags far behind
Maybe it's just me maybe I'm the one who changes
I guess I'll just live my life and hope that I can cope,
I've done so so far but tomorrow's another day...Another day!
In Up Front's song "Fade", the lyrics follow the theme of change and how it affects individuals in different ways. The song begins with a reflection on a time when things were clear and uncomplicated, but as time passes, the clarity fades away. The chorus expresses how friends come and go without warning, and what once was in front now lags far behind. The second verse explores the idea of change being a personal issue, with the question of whether everyone else is the same, and how to know. The song concludes with the sentiment of living one's life and hoping for coping abilities in the future.
Overall, the lyrics are open-ended and self-reflective, providing a universal theme of change and the challenges it presents. The song raises questions about how to cope with the inevitability of change and how to maintain a sense of self amidst it. The lyrics are relatable to a wide audience, as everyone has experienced change and the need to adapt.
