Losing You
Upstanding Youth Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Better days have come my way and I'm not one that likes to say
That world is so gray, but things are pretty crappy.
I lost my money, lost my mom and everything I had is gone.
Go ahead and pile it on.

[Chorus:]
I knew that these days would come,
But I'd rather be here playing in the sun.
Right now I may feel down,
But the world's gonna spin and things will turn around.

Clouds are rolling back again now, I'm at my ropes end,
All I need is my true friend, but things are pretty crappy.
I don't care what you say.

[Chorus]

Pisses me off how under rated this band is. They're so damn good.

OMAR PENA

Pandora is amazing, and this song should have millions of views

Fifth Dentist

I agree with Omar. These guys kept popping up on my Reel Big Fish channel. I've downloaded Still and A Sense of Urgency. Both are great.
Wonder what they are up to now?

@xADayWellWastedx Yeah, I discovered UY fairly recently and bought this album. I'd heard this song on my Pandora station but couldn't find it on Youtube anywhere, so when I got it I uploaded it so a friend of mine could listen. I'm glad you liked it.

@anarchysean I totally would, but I only have this one album by them. You can prolly find it on Grooveshark, though.
