Another fun video guys..I think the best thing a parent can do is let their kid have fun and be a kid, guide them in their strong suits, talk to them/be involved, let them know certain things like BJJ is for your personal defense and the world can be crazy. After school activities like softball, debate team etc are a good way to stay out of trouble. I did plenty of after school activities while my dad was in the Navy and spent a lot of time in the gym, shooting pool & bowling. But ultimately parents do their best and just want better for their kids and of you can read some books to make sense of things then why not. My biggest fear is when my daughter starts to date cuz I know how guys are. I'll be kitted out while questioning him, little intimidation never hurt anyone. Party on!

Amen. I would love to sit on the deck with you guys and talk about relationships and Life. my wife and I get along so good cause we let each other be ourselves. We have similar values and believes so it's not do anything you want, but allowing each other freedom is key. Kids complicate things tto but not too much if you'r on the same page. I had a super freak girlfriend turned Fiancee once that really opened my eyes ( thank god ). My brothers saw it before me and said....." dude , is this really what you want"? One brother told me " my passion is fishing, but I don't need my wife to go fishing with me everywhere I go ". Let her be her and you be you. If that seems hard its not right.

Shawn get Katie to read that book. Your are right on the mark with the programming. No one on the planet can teach Sonny the way you and Katie can. I put all my kids in home school because I didn’t have a choice we were moving around a lot and I was working round the clock. I was worried for years that it was a mistake. I thought they missed out on more social stuff than the education part of it because the home school programs were way more advanced than the public schools. Just time wise they got your kid for about 9 hours a day maybe 1/2 of that they are actually learning and it’s set up for a general approach to teach 30 different kids. Home school is designed to teach your kid at his speed and it focuses on what he needs to work on. You can get three weeks worth of public school teaching in one day with homeschool. It’s intimidating but you will be with your child every day and you get to help him learn what ever destiny awaits him. My children don’t see social classes or who wears the in clothes. They have huge hearts and they make people who are around them happy because of the energy they have. They are so much closer and we are closer as a family because we teach our kids about life. How to cook and clean and manage a grocery budget, fix the pilot light on the gas stove. Katie you and Shawn It is the only to go Would lov to tell you some more about it. You have your child for around 18 maybe 20 years before they venture off on there own. No one can teach him better than you guys!! I feel so blessed that I decided to do it. I couldn’t be more proud of all my kids and I wouldn’t trade all the time we spend together for anything..
