So won't you come sit and talk to me
And tell me how we're gonna be together always
Hope you know that when this late at night
I hold on to a pillow tight
I think about how you promised me forever
I never thought that anyone could make me feel this way
Now that you're here boy all I want is just a chance to say
Get out (leave) right now
It's the end of you and me
It's too late (now) and I can't wait for you to be gone
'Cause I know about her (who)
And I wonder (why) how I bought all the lies
You said that you would treat me right
But you were just a waste of time (waste of time)
Tell me why you looking so confused
When I'm the one that didn't know the truth
How could you ever be so cold?
You go behind my back and call my friend
Boy you must've fall and bumped your head
'Cause you left your number on her phone
So now that after all that you've said and done
Maybe I'm the one to blame but
To think that you could be the one
Well it didn't work out that way
Get out (leave) right now
It's the end of you and me
It's too late (now) and I can't wait for you to be gone (you to be gone)
'Cause I know about her (move)
And I wonder (why) how I bought all the lies (all the lies)
You said that you would treat me right (you said that you)
But you were just a waste of time (waste of time)
I wanted you right here with me
But I have no choice you've got to leave
Because my heart is breaking with
Every word I'm saying, I gave up everything I had
On something that just would not last
But I refuse to cry
No tears will fall from these eyes (oh, oh)
Get out
Get out (leave) right now
It's the end of you and me (you and me)
It's too late (now) and I can't wait for you to be gone (you to be gone)
'Cause I know about her (move)
And I wonder (why) how I bought all the lies (how did I)
You said that you would treat me right (you said that you)
But you were just a waste of time (waste of time)
Get out (leave) right now
It's the end of you and me (hey yeah)
It's too late (now) and I can't wait for you to be gone (you to be gone)
'Cause I know about her (move)
And I wonder (why) how I bought all the lies
You said that you would treat me right (treat me right)
But you were just a waste of time (waste of time)
Get out (leave) (you and me)
It's too late (too late) (now)
About her (now) (why)
You said that you would treat me right
But you were just a waste of time (oh)
The lyrics to Usher's song "Confessions Part II" depict a relationship that has come to an end due to the singer discovering her partner's infidelity. The song showcases her feelings of betrayal, hurt, and anger towards her partner.
The first verse sets the tone of the song, as the singer expresses her anticipation for her partner to address the issues in their relationship. She reflects on their promises of forever and how she never thought anyone could make her feel this way. However, as the truth unfolds, she realizes that her partner has been lying to her and cheating behind her back. This realization leads her to confront him and demand that he leave her life. She expresses her resentment towards him, feeling deceived and foolish for believing his lies.
In the chorus, she reiterates her desire for him to leave, as she knows about the other woman he has been involved with. She questions why she fell for his lies and why he treated her so poorly, ultimately acknowledging that he was a waste of her time.
The second verse highlights her confusion and hurt over his actions. She questions how he could be so cold and go behind her back, even contacting her friend. In essence, she emphasizes that she trusted him, making his betrayal all the more painful. Despite some self-blame, she ultimately admits that she thought they could be together, but it didn't work out that way.
The bridge expresses her heartache, as she confronts the reality that she must let him go. She acknowledges that she gave up everything for a relationship that couldn't last, but she refuses to shed tears over him. The repetition of "get out" and "leave" reinforces her determination to move on and create a better future for herself.
Overall, the lyrics of "Confessions Part II" convey the emotions of betrayal, heartbreak, and empowerment that come with discovering infidelity in a relationship. The song captures the raw emotions of a person who has been hurt, ultimately choosing self-love and growth over staying in a toxic situation.

This is what you do
This is what you do
This is what you do
This is what you do
You make me wanna leave the one I'm with
Start a new relationship with you
This is what you do
think about a ring and all the things that come along with
You make me
make me wanna leave the one I'm with
Start a new relationship with you
This is what you do
think about a ring and all the things that come along with
You make me
You make me
Before anything began between us
You were like my best friend
The one I used to run and talk to
When me and my girl was having problems
You used to say it'll be ok
Suggest little nice things I should do
And when I go home at night and lay my head down
All I seem to think about was you
And how you make me wanna leave the one I'm with
Start a new relationship with you
This is what you do
Think about a ring and all the things that come along with
You make me
make me wanna leave the one I'm with
Start a new relationship with you
This is what you do
think about a ring and all the things that come along with
You make me
You make me
Now what's bad is you're the one that hooked us up
Knowing it should have been you
What's sad is that I love her but I'm falling for you
What should I do?
Should I tell my baby bye-bye?
Should I do exactly what I feel inside?
'Cause, I, I don't wanna go, don't need to stay
But I really need to get it together
You make me wanna leave the one I'm with
Start a new relationship with you
This is what you do
Think about a ring and all the things that come along with
You make me
make me wanna leave the one I'm with
Start a new relationship with you
This is what you do
think about a ring and all the things that come along with
You make me
You make me
At this point the situation's out of control
I never meant to hurt her
But I gotta let her go
And she may not understand it
While all of this is going on
I tried, I tried to fight it
But the feeling's just too strong
You make, make, make me
You make me wanna
You make me wanna
Oh, you make, make, me, me
You make me wanna
You make me wanna
You make me wanna
You make me wanna
come along wit' it
You makin' me, you makin' me
You make me wanna leave the one I'm with
Start a new relationship with you
This is what you do
Think about a ring and all the things that come along with
You make me
make me wanna leave the one I'm with
Start a new relationship with you
This is what you do
