Medicine
Uss Lyrics

Away you (?)
The breeze and blows nobody know
Well well well well well
The other you goes
Where the other you goes
No, I don′t even know how to walk away
Oh, I finally met your monster face to face
I got a taste of my own medicine
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
Help me tell my cytoxan
You′ve been lost out for days
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
(Take a deep breathe, let it go, now relax)
When I tried to get close
You stole my prescription it goes
I know, know, know that I did it to you
Now I know know know what it feels like too
So this is what it feels like
No, I don't even know how to walk away
So, I don't believe a single word you say
Oh, I finally met your monster face to face
I got a taste of my own medicine
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
Help me tell my cytoxan
You′ve been lost out for days
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
(Ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
(Ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
Why do you always hide?
Why do you always hide?
Why do you always hide?
Why do you always hide?
I finally met your monster face to face
I got a taste of my own medicine
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
Help me tell my cytoxan
You′ve been lost out for days
Taste of my own medicine (ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, taste)
Why do you always hide?
Why do you always hide?
The lyrics of Uss's song "Medicine" seem to be about dealing with the consequences of one's own actions. The first verse describes feeling like a zombie and being lost and blown around by the wind. The chorus repeats the line "I got a taste of my own medicine," with the ta-ta-ta-ta-taste part implying a bitter, unpleasant experience. The second verse talks about feeling betrayed by someone close stealing a prescription, but then realizing that they themselves had done something similar to the other person. The song concludes with a repetition of the chorus and the question "why do you always hide?"

Weird, this song took a while to grow on me. I didn't appreciate it until I heard it live 10 or so times. Human Kebab, you have some nice vocals on this. I hope to hear more.

I wonder how long it’ll take for this to be played at a rehab centre. But when it does I’m sure the staff will be rockin out to it. 😂

I saw you guys live for the second time in Toronto down by the beaches. It was your second last concert . I have never been both so happy at the concert...and sad that I won't see you many more time. The best band I've ever had the privilege to see live. You will be missed!!
