Where are you now? I promised forever, but you captured my heart, then tore it to pieces
Pain on my face, your anger releases sorry is not a word for the morning father forgive, he knows what he’s doing but he’s
CHORUS:
Out of control again how can you feel no shame?
Night until dawn, you forced me to take the blame do you feel numb right now, or do you feel my pain?
Feel my pain, feel my pain Out of control again.
A million of times I made my excuses this isn’t real, he drove me to do this
Now I can see you’ll never be sorry father forgive, I can not stay here tonight.
He’s out of Control, he knows what he’s doing father forgive but I just can’t stay cause he is.
CHORUS:
Out of control again how can you feel no shame?
Night until dawn, you forced me to take the blame do you feel numb right now, or do you feel my pain?
Feel my pain, feel my pain Out of control again.
Out of control again how can you feel no shame?
Night until dawn, you forced me to take the blame do you feel numb right now, or do you feel my pain?
Feel my pain, feel my pain Out of control again.
To be stronger, i must lose him, to be stronger i must lose everything I’ve loved
To be stronger, i must lose him, to be stronger i must lose everything cause hi is
Out of control again, out of control again, out of control again feel the shame, feel the shame out of control again.
The lyrics of Valeriya's song "Out of Control" depict a painful and toxic relationship that has left the singer feeling broken and helpless. The opening lines suggest that the singer may have once known the person they are addressing but now questions if they ever truly knew them. The image of a beautiful face with no one to hold onto conveys a sense of loneliness and longing. The singer reveals that this person made them believe in something, but ultimately betrayed them.
The lyrics then shift to the present, and the singer expresses feelings of abandonment and betrayal. They promised forever, but their heart was captured and torn apart by this person. The pain on their face is a result of the anger unleashed by this person, and the singer seeks forgiveness from their father for what they have allowed themselves to endure. However, they also acknowledge that this person knows what they are doing, implying a pattern of abusive behavior.
The chorus intensifies the emotions, as the singer questions how this person can feel no shame for the pain they have caused. They are forced to take the blame for the actions of the person they are addressing, and they wonder if this person is numb to their pain or if they can feel it. The repetition of the phrase "out of control" emphasizes the chaotic and destructive nature of the relationship.
In the final verse, the singer realizes that in order to become stronger, they need to let go of this person and everything they once loved. They acknowledge that this person is out of control once again and express a desire to distance themselves. The repeated plea to feel the shame indicates that the singer wants this person to face the consequences of their actions.
Overall, "Out of Control" portrays the anguish and turmoil of a toxic relationship, highlighting the singer's journey towards finding strength and breaking free from the destructive cycle.
