The bottom line here is, Page’s house is a very important house. If Williams had got what he wanted, without doubt it would have caused damage to the interior decoration in Page’s house. Williams wanted a huge underground complex. Pool, gym etc and the passageway was to the house from that. Page was right. Look up house extensions in London. Houses have collapsed from these works. They dig down under your house and sometime the house has just fallen down. Look it up.

@niptodstan

That is what Page was worried about.

@TheGuitologist

You cannot say “without a doubt” Page’s home would have been damaged in any way without some sort of site survey showing vibration analysis based on structural, geotechnical, and construction engineering.

@weareallbeingwatched4602

Also, if you run a music studio, the tunnelling operation will make it impossible to work due to noise pollution. air lyndhurst was under threat from this.

@PetraKann

@The Guitologist.
Are you demanding that Pagey lay back and accept the risk posed by the brat next door?
Remember Professor Guitologist, Williams is a smelly fake plastic version of Sinatra, Pagey co-wrote Kashmir and Achilles last stand.

Trust me, Robbie Williams is the neighbour from hell here, simply because he's Robbie Williams.

I don't blame Page one bit. His house is a historic William Burges home built in the 1800's. Williams wanted to build something that would undoubtedly impacted the foundation of the historic home. Don't blame Page one bit. Williams is the neighbor from hell, not the other way around. Has nothing to do with "noise levels", but everything to do with heavy equipment vibration levels. The houses are very close to each other.

@richardharrold9736

Specifically, it's Burges' own home. Page has done an absolutely exemplary job of restoring it authentically. He was/is the saviour that house needed.

My brother met JImmy a few times and spoke very highly of him and my friend's brother in law is close friend's with Ross Halfrin, photographer and Page's close friend. Well he met and hung out with Jimmy for 2 hours and had nothing but praise for him.

Hell yeah Brad! So stoked that SPF is back and you’re definitely getting back into the swing of it! Your whole style of edit always has me cracking up, and I love the new Riff of the Week addition (your epic finger picking technique always trips me out, I’ve always sucked at that, haha)! Keep up the great work dude and NEVER quit! Cheers!
