All Of You
Various Artists Lyrics

RAOUL
No more talk
of darkness,
Forget these
wide-eyed fears.
I'm here,
nothing can harm you -
my words will
warm and calm you.
Let me be
your freedom,
let daylight
dry -your tears.
I'm here,
with you, beside you,
to guard you
and to guide you . . .

CHRISTINE
Say you love me
every
waking moment,
turn my head
with talk of summertime . . .

Say you need me
with you,
now and always . . .
promise me that all
you say is true -
that's all I ask
of you . . .

RAOUL
Let me be
your shelter,
let me
be your light.
You're safe:
No-one will find you
your fears are
far behind you . . .

CHRISTINE
All I want
is freedom,
a world with
no more night . . .
and you
always beside me
to hold me
and to hide me . . .

RAOUL
Then say you'll share with
me one
love, one lifetime . . .
Iet me lead you
from your solitude . . .

Say you need me
with you
here, beside you . . .
anywhere you go,
let me go too -
Christine,
that's all I ask
of you . . .

CHRISTINE
Say you'll share with
me one
love, one lifetime . . .
say the word
and I will follow you . . .

BOTH
Share each day with
me, each
night, each morning . . .

CHRISTINE
Say you love me . . .

RAOUL
You know I do . . .

BOTH
Love me -
that's all I ask
of you . . .

(They kiss)

Anywhere you go
let me go too . . .
Love me -
that's all I ask
of you . .

Look at this home, we need a new foundation
It may seem hopeless but we'll get by just fine
Look at this family, a glowing constellation
So full of stars and everybody wants to shine

But the stars don't shine, they burn
And the constellations shift
I think it's time you learn
You're more than just your gift

And I'm sorry I held on too tight
Just so afraid I'd lose you too
The miracle is not some magic that you've got
The miracle is you, not some gift, just you
The miracle is you
All of you, all of you

Okay, so we gonna talk about Bruno? (That's Bruno)
Yeah, there's a lot to say about Bruno
I'll start, okay

Pepa, I'm sorry 'bout your wedding, didn't mean to be upsetting
That wasn't a prophecy, I could just see you were sweating
And I wanted you to know that your bro loves you so
Let it in, let it out, let it rain, let it snow, let it go

That's what I'm always saying, bro
Got a lotta 'pologies I got to say
(Hey, we're just happy that you're here, okay?) Uh, but
Come into the light, the triplets all reunite
And no matter what happens we're gonna find our way
Yo, I knew he never left, I heard him every day

What's that sound? (Oh, oh)
I think it's everyone in town

Hey
Lay down your load (lay down your load)
We are only down the road (we are only down the road)
We have no gifts, but we are many
And we'll do anything for you

It's a dream when we work as a team (all of you, all of you)
You're so strong
Yeah, but sometimes I cry (all of you, all of you)
So do I
I may not be as strong but I'm getting wiser
Yeah, I need sunlight and fertilizer
Come on, let's plant something new and watch it fly
Straight up to the sky, let's go

The stars don't shine, they burn
The constellations glow
The seasons change in turn
Would you watch our little girl go?
She takes after you

Oh
Hey Mariano, why so blue?
I just have so much love inside
You know, I've got this cousin too
Have you met Dolores?
Okay, I'll take it from here, goodbye

You talk so loud
You take care of your mother and you make her proud
You write your own poetry every night when you go to sleep
And I'm seizing the moment, so would you wake up and notice me?

Dolores, I see you (and I hear you)
Yes (all of you, all of you)
Let's get married (slow down)
All of you, all of you

Home sweet home
I like the new foundation
It isn't perfect
Neither are we (that's true)
Just one more thing
Before the celebration (what?)
We need a doorknob
We made this one for you

We see how bright you burn
We see how brave you've been
Now, see yourself in turn
You're the real gift, kid, let us in
Open your eyes

Abre los ojos
What do you see?
I see me
All of me

John

3:16 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

John

3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.'

Hebrews

12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

Acts

3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

James 2:24,26

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

@@piecesofstarlight Ok, I'll explain myself better. In its past years, Disney never talked about marriage and falling in love as the same thing. It was perfectly common to see them as contrasting each other.
The King from Cinderella is more than willing to force his son to marry the first girl whose foot fits the slipper, no matter if he actually loves her or not.
The Fairies from The Sleeping Beauty tell Aurora she can't see anymore "that young man she met in the woods" because she's already betrothed to another one.
Jasmine doesn't want to marry someone she doesn't love, even though it means to go against the law.
Simba and Nala (as cubs) find it awkward the idea of being engaged, since they still consider themselves friends.
Even though it's not a Disney movie, just think about Victoria's parents from "The corpse bride". They openly admit that they don't even like each other, even though they're married.

Saying "You can't marry a man you just met" isn't feminist at all, considering how Disney movies used to talk about love and marriage. It's just not the equivalent of saying "you can't love a man you just met".
Snow White's love for her Prince is way more empowering than you'd expect. The Prince's kiss works only for one reason: it's HIM the one Snow White decided to love while being alive. Snow White has already (unknowingly) saved herself in the very moment she loved her prince.
The "wishing well" scene hasn't to be seen in a literal way. It has the allegorical porpuse to show how Snow White's true beauty (which isn't just outside) can't be hidden anymore under poor rags, the Prince can perfectly see that and the Queen can too (that's way she looks at them by her window and then decides to have Snow White killed).
Fairy tales don't have to be interpreted literally, that's the main problem Disney-complainers have towards earliest princesses.
Encanto, on the other hand, is a magical-realist musical inspired by Marquez's works. The "Let's get married" line was more of a small joke without many implications.
Frozen hasn't actually changed anything. You can perfectly tell that the whole "Romantic love vs Fraternal love" thing was written at the last minute only to fill the blank space left by turning Elsa in a good guy and creating Hans (a poorly exectued twist-villain, one of the weakest Disney has ever created).
1) You want to write a modern fairy tale about fraternal love? Fine. But by comparing it to romantic love, you're just putting too many implications that can only harm your message.
2) You want to deconstruct the "Prince Charming" archetype? Well, a poorly executed twist villain wasn't the best way to do it. Elsa as a villain was way more original and interesting.
3) You want to deliver a message about not trusting people you don't know and being able to see through their facade? Fine, but it might be confusing if you mix it with the "fraternal love" plot. It's not a bad message, not at all. Just think about what happened between Ezra Miller and Tokata Iron Eyes. But Hans isn't how you should deal with such a topic.

It's a long comment, I know. Plus, my English still needs some work (I'm actually Italian). Anyway, thank you for having read it

When Dolores said ‘slow down’ to Mariano i was like, ‘YES!!!!’, Disney films are becoming more realistic by the day!

@venkat5051

the whole movie is so realistic despite having magical things.

@andieallison6792

Oh please.

@shinluis

Maybe not quite realistic but rather smarter or more nuanced on how it wants to show things. I love how encanto doesn’t have a badguy and the final confrontation is two people talking honestly and trying their best to understand one another.
