In these lyrics, Vicky conveys the feeling of living without purpose until the moment she met someone special. She was merely existing, spending her moments in empty happiness, faking joy. However, this all changed when she met her love interest. His arrival was unexpected, and at a time where she was used to living in solitude, but he brought a ray of light into her life. He saw through the sorrows that fate had handed her, and with his love, she was finally able to learn to love and cherish herself.
The chorus of the song is where Vicky professes her love for this person. She states that she loved him, loves him, and will continue to love him while she lives, for his eyes that always look at her and his lips that tremble when he calls her "mine." This love has given her the ability to learn to love, a verb she found so attractive but couldn't quite understand until this person came into her life. They have learned to love together, and their love is something that will continue to bind them for life.

tenia unos 4 años quizás, cuando escuchaba a mi madre cantar "Y NUNCA COMPRENDI" y también este tema, en ese entonces tenia mi mami unos 28 0 29 añitos, joven y hermosa, lástima el padre para sus hijos q ella eligió. hoy a sus 68 años, su piel desgastada por los transcurridos, su piel arrugada, pero admiro ese entusiasmo q ella manifiesta para sus proyectos futuros. y al saber de la muerte de viki se reúne en mi sentimientos encontrados.
