He is a part of the band Malayalee with Jakes Bejoy, Shaan Rahman and Arjun Sasi. He has also acted as one of the main protagonists in the Malayalam film titled Cycle which did well at the box-office. He writes the lyrics of most of his album songs and has also shown his direction skills, directing his own music videos.

ആറു വർഷം മുന്നേ ടീസറും ട്രെയിലറും ഒന്നുമില്ലതെ, ഇറങ്ങാൻ പോകുന്ന ഒരു സിനിമയിലെ രണ്ടു പാട്ടുകൾ യൂ ടൂബിൾ റിലീസ് ആകുന്നു. സിനിമയുടെ പേര് 'പ്രേമം'. നിവിൻ പോളിയാണ് നായകൻ. ഡയറക്ടർ ആരാണെന്ന് ഒന്നും അന്നറിയില്ല. അധികം അന്വേഷിക്കാനും പോയില്ല.
ഇറങ്ങിയ രണ്ടു പാട്ടും കിടിലൻ.
"ആലുവാ പുഴയുടെ തീരത്ത്..." എന്ന പാട്ടും "പതിവായ് ഞാനവളേ കാണാൻ പോകാറുണ്ടേ..." എന്ന പാട്ടും. രണ്ടും ഒരുപാട് ഫോണുകളിലും ചാനലുകളിലും ഒട്ടേറെ പേരുടെ ചുണ്ടുകളിലും ഒക്കെ ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന സമയം. സിനിമ 2015 മെയ് മാസം 29ന് ഇറങ്ങാൻ പോകുന്നു. അതും തമിഴ് നടൻ സൂര്യയുടെ ചിത്രവുമായി ക്ലാഷ് റിലീസ്. ഇപ്പോഴും നിവിൻ ഇട്ട പഴയ പ്രേമം പോസ്റ്റിന്റെ കമന്റ് ബോക്സ് ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാൽ വൻ കോമഡി കമന്റുകൾ കാണാം.
അങ്ങനെ സിനിമ റിലീസ് ആയി. നല്ല സിനിമകൾ അതിപ്പോൾ ഏത് താരത്തിന്റെ ആണെങ്കിലും ഏവരും ഇരു കയ്യും നീട്ടി സ്വീകരിക്കും എന്നതിന് തെളിവായിരുന്നു പ്രേമത്തിനു കിട്ടിയ റെസ്പോൺസ്. എല്ലാ തീയറ്ററിലും തിരക്കും ബഹളവും. ടിക്കറ്റ് കിട്ടാതെ എല്ലാരും നെട്ടോട്ടം ഓടുന്നു. എങ്ങും പ്രേമം, മലർ, ജോർജ്, സെലിൻ... ഞാനൊക്കെ മൂന്നാമതോ നാലാമതോ പോയിട്ടാണ് ടിക്കറ്റ് തന്നെ കിട്ടിയത്. ആകെ മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യമോ മറ്റോ സിനിമ തീയറ്ററിൽ നിന്നു കണ്ടു. അത്രയ്ക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു പ്രേമം എന്ന സിനിമ. പിന്നീട് അങ്ങോട്ട് ഫാമിലിയുടെ വരവായിരുന്നു. ഒരു യൂത്തൻ ഇവിടെ വന്നു റെക്കോർഡ് കളക്ഷൻ ഇടുന്നു. നിവിൻ പോളി എന്ന നടന്റെ താരമൂല്യം ഡബിൾ മർജിനിൽ വർദ്ധിച്ച സമയം.
താടിയും കറുത്ത ഷർട്ടും കൈലിയും കുർത്തയും സിനിമയിലെ പാട്ടുകളും ട്രെൻഡാകുന്നു, എന്തിനു നിവിൻ കോളേജിൽ തന്റെ ക്ലാസിലേക്ക് കയറി വരുമ്പോൾ പിള്ളേർ ഡസ്കിൽ ഇട്ടു കൊട്ടുന്ന ആ കൊട്ട് വരെ അന്നൊക്കെ പല ക്ലാസ് മുറികളിൽ നിന്നും മുഴങ്ങി കേട്ടിരുന്നു. അന്ന് കറുത്ത ഷർട്ട് വാങ്ങാൻ എത്ര കടകൾ കയറി ഇറങ്ങി. ആ സമയത്തെ കോളേജ്, സ്കൂളുകളിലെ ഓണ പരിപാടിയുടെ കാര്യം ഞാനിവിടെ എടുത്തു പറയുന്നില്ല. 🤐
ഒരുപാട് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട സിനിമയ്ക്ക് ആറു വയസ്സ്. ❤️
