The song "Granada" by Violetta Villas is a beautiful tribute to the city of Granada in Spain. The first verse of the song talks about how the singer's voice becomes "gypsy" when singing to Granada, and the song is made of fantasy and melancholy. She offers her song to Granada and describes it as a flower of melancholy. The second verse describes Granada as a city full of charisma and beauty, with a rebellious and gypsy spirit. The singer desires to dream about Granada as a woman covered in flowers and kisses her red lips. The last verse of the song takes a darker turn, as the singer recalls seeing the city in the aftermath of a bullfight, with blood on the streets. However, the singer describes the city as still holding onto its charm and beauty, with its women being just as full of vibrancy and character as the city itself.
