The choir was created thanks to enthusiasm and the unstoppable energy of Jasmina Lorin, the conductor of Zemun high school choir for full 14 years. Choir members, following Jasmina, joined Cultural Artistic Society (KUD) „Branko Radičević“ in 2003, and on the 9th of May in 2005. they’ve officially registered as an independent choir by the name as we know it today - Viva Vox.
In the beginning, Viva Vox was just an ordinary enthusiastic and energetic youth choir performing classical, renaissance, spiritual and folk music from the composers such as Mozart, Handel, di Lasso, but as well as some Serbian 19th century and contemporary composers, such as Stevan Mokranjac, Aleksandar Vujic, Vojislav Simic, etc. However, they've always most enjoyed those entertaining pieces which always got the most positive reactions from the audience. Since 2008. they’ve started writing down a couple of their own arrangements, and in 2009. they’ve really gotten into it and even implemented beatbox in their performance.
By now, Viva Vox choir had numerous performances in various rock festivals, cultural manifestations, opening and closing ceremonies, theatre, radio and tv shows. Choir regularly holds annual before-newyear’s concerts, and in 2010. the event was for the first time structured like an allnight a cappella pop/rock concert. And for the first time, the Airforce Command hall in Zemun (capacity ~350 seats), where the concert was traditionally held, was too small for all of the interested. In may, just a few months later, a concert in larger concert hall of Dom omladine (Youth home) Belgrade was sold out many days earlier.
It is from this concert that video of Viva Vox’s a cappella rendition of Du Hast, a song by a german industrial-metal band Rammstein, went viral on the web and brought global popularity to the choir in just a few days. After stormy reactions from all around the world, Serbian public too paid more attention to Viva Vox, which was then consequently invited on numerous music festivals and tv shows in country and abroad. The crown of this choir’s career was holding a large concert in december 2011. in front of full Sava Center in Belgrade (capacity ~3 600 seats), which was sold out weeks earlier.
In the future, choir Viva Vox will continue to work on a cappella pop/rock/metal music, but it’s members don’t plan to give up on their classical choir repertoaire either.
Their greatest wish is that they continue representing Serbia in it’s true light, under conducting stick of Jasmina Lorin, and to help promote choir music in Serbia.

Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin′ on by you know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It′s a new day
It's a new life
For me
Fish in the sea you know how I feel
River running free you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree you know how I feel
Dragonfly out in the sun you know
What I mean, don′t you know
Butterflies all havin′ fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
That's what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
Stars when you shine you know how I feel
Scent of the pine you know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
