An individual who takes on the role of a deity.

holding my hand yet not,
Purporting to be a guide, yet not providing actual help or guidance.

leading me forth to rot.
Directing me towards ruin or destruction.

but i'm delirious, i'm delirious,
I am confused and disoriented by what is happening.

because they're claiming us. yet we just watch and smile.
Others are taking control of us, but we remain passive and unresponsive.

this is serious, this is serious.
The situation is dire and requires immediate attention.

are you delirious? where is your inner child?
Are you also feeling confused and disoriented, unable to tap into the sense of wonder and imagination that defines childhood?

with all my decomposing. i find a peace within my closing.
As I begin to degrade and decay, I find a sense of calm and tranquility.

i'm addicted to this fantasy.
I have become obsessed with this idea or alternate reality.

my inner child is waiting, it's begging for more.
The childlike part of me is yearning for more exploration, wonder, and imagination.

i don't like your views on territory
Your ideas or opinions about ownership and control do not align with mine.

if you want it, you take it, and claim it as yours.
Your belief is that one should seize whatever they desire and make it their own.

everybody thinks so differently.
There is a vast range of opinions and viewpoints on this matter.

the judgement, the lying, and there's always more.
The situation is rife with criticism and dishonesty, and it seems that things will only worsen.

i'll stay here in my fantasy.
I choose to remain in my dreamlike state or alternate reality.

with the magic and wonder. through the clouds i soar.
I experience a sense of awe and amazement as I imagine soaring through the clouds.

i'll play the victim to no one.
I refuse to allow myself to be victimized or taken advantage of by anyone.

i feel the knowledge, shame and wisdom
I am gaining awareness and understanding of certain things, even if that realization causes me to feel shame or regret.

breaking through my child's mind.
These realizations are emerging through the impressionable, curious mind of my inner child.

i feel less hopeful, imagination's waning.
As I grow more aware, I am losing my sense of optimism and creativity.

this is infanticide
This newfound awareness and sense of loss marks the killing of my inner child, or my childish tendencies and beliefs.
