Davonte’ a.k.a. Von Sway grew up in a family where music came naturally. With a gospel upbringing, Von Sway explored other genres of music. Doc Ice of the hip group U.T.F.O. happened to notice the talent of then fifteen year old Von Sway. After their initial meeting the hip hop icon was so impressed that he immediately introduced the young talent to production team of C. Roc, Re Re, and Khaliq Bey (Brothers & Sisters Entertainment). It was at that point the road to creating a future star began.

Von Sway studied and learned to play piano and guitar. Watching others in the studio writing and producing music for him inspired him to pick up a pen. Today Von Sway has earned the title of singer/songwriter/ producer. Von Sway wrote a moving balled called “WHEN YOU’RE GONE”, that will be feature on a McDonald’s sampler (to be released in June). Von Sway has also teamed up with young superstar Juice (My Super Sweet 16) to create a mid tempo banger called “HERE I AM”. The song was featured on MTV with the Von Sway and Juice performing it during a recording session.

Working hard to become the ultimate entertainer Von Sway has performed along side platinum recording artists Wyclef Jean, Bilal, and Doctor Ice throughout New York City and New Jersey.
