The band’s members - Sena Dagadu (vocals, texts), Albert Márkos (cello), Samu Gryllus (bass) and Hunor G. Szabó (percussions) – are all celebrated artists in the Hungarian music scene, their names appear in various other groups of high esteem. Although they come from different backgrounds and all have their own approach to music with distinctive artistic preferences, when they come together in W.H., the variety of their musical contribution results in a totally unique style. Hence it is not easy to describe the outcome of the production, as the pieces - worked out at first in a spontaneous mode - show characteristics of different genres, such as klangfarbe musik, free jazz, modern jazz, contemporary music, improvised music, acoustic and abstract hip hop and slam poetry. All this eventually intermingles into an incomparable sound and a captivating show indeed, with the greatest respect and decorum to the ever-living artistry and magnitude of William Shakespeare.
