WTZ brought up the punk masses and their success played a key role in the punk rock explosion in the south of the republic. In addition to bands like FEHLPRODUCKT,
WHITE NIGGER and GULLILECKER led the German punk revolt in Swabia.
The enterprising German punk labels AGR and ROCK-O-RAMA quickly became aware of the wild Swabians, which was ultimately the beginning of the end. To be lumped together so quickly with CANALTERROR, COTZBROCKEN, OHL, TOXOPLASMA and DAILY TERROR was definitely too much for the young prickly vegetables. So they promised the publication, but signed, to the then not yet right-wing radical label Rock-O-Rama at the Berlin competitor, who soon sent a large check as an advance payment for studio recordings in the Würmtal.
