For those wondering, it seems to me that they are trying to capitalize on the fact that song is getting popular because it was used in a Netflix show. Technically they do still own the rights to this song even if Waterparks isn't on their label anymore.

thats how most record deals work. HR owns the "master tapes" and waterparks would have to buy it out. parx probs gettin a nice lil royalty payment tho
