Love it!!! Great song, great video, great band, always an inspiration in the pursuit of good music for the sake of good music...

DM: After wrap, we spent the evening laughing our asses off, sleepless and giddy, scarfing down slices at St. Mark's Pizza and guzzling room-temp Rolling Rocks at CBGB, where we caught a blistering set by Television guitarist Richard Lloyd. "Why can't every day be like this?" I asked myself, before passing out in a sleeping bag on Katie's living room floor at sunrise."

David Middleton: Oh, what a day that was! It was 1987, and Carol said she felt it was high time someone aped that famous Dylan/Pennebaker clip from the '60's. "Twist our arm!" we replied, piled in the van, drove up Rt. 13 to NYC, and filmed it all in one quick, late-April dawn-to-dusk whirlwind with Paul Provenzano directing.

SH: Crouching down against the wall on the narrow strip of pavement with the cars speeding by me was a little discomforting. I kept looking over my shoulder thinking I was going to get crushed by a truck, but I like the shot. I think Billy pushing Paul in the grocery cart for the guitar solo is my favorite scene. I think that sums up the fun and lightheartedness of the day and our approach to most of what we did back then."

Sean Hennessy: "I'm excited to see the remastered video. Shooting that was a lot fun. The whole thing was shot gorilla style with a very small crew in a single day. It all seemed quite effortless and organic. Very few of the locations were planned with the exception of the first scene. That street was chosen because it looked like the street Bob Dylan shot his "Subterranean Homesick Blues" video on. His video was the inspiration for ours.

DM: They kept producing them like Warhol's Factory, right on up to the last minute as we went along, careening around in the van, trying to get all those location shots done by sundown. We each put our own .02 in, but most of my ideas (like "Say it loud! I'm black & I'm proud!") got rejected. It was lots of laughs and crazy fun, obviously.

DM: He had a two-man crew, and we had Michael Cope with us to snap photos of the festivities. Carol and band friend Katie Sigler (whose ground-floor Curry Row railroad-car apartment was our 2nd home in those days) acted as our 'Ginsberg and Donovan,' staying up late the night before making all those cue cards.

DM: All the people hanging out in the park near Wall Street thought we were protesting; Bil was holding up a card, struggling to keep a straight face, when some guy marched right up to him and screamed, "You're an A**HOLE !" I also remember Paul taking a quick trip to the emergency room after the shopping-cart sequence under the Brooklyn Bridge.
