hey all. this is rocky formerly of we are trees. i realize you all have some burning questions from reading the comments section.
1. did we live in brooklyn?
no, we all lived in virginia beach, va. josiah moved to brooklyn briefly, then moved back to norfolk.
2. are we trust fund kids?
no. in fact josiah's dad is an optometrist, my parents own a small pest control and landscaping business, and james' parents had a chinese restaurant and he ended up moving back to taiwan with them.
3. why can't you figure out the chords?
because james is using a different tuning and I totally forgot what it was.
4. are there lenses in my glasses?
no, and i didn't get my prescription put in them until almost a year later because i was broke and living in our friend Robert's attic (which was really, really cold btw)
5. what are we up to now?
josiah is a certified massage therapist and resides in norfolk with his girlfriend bianca. she's way cool and is head chef at toast.
james is somewhere in taiwan I'm guessing. we don't talk.
i live in a tiny apartment with my roommate melissa and her two adorable dachsunds. I'm a server and bartender at peck and pour and pasha mezze.
josiah has his own project called ladada, and I have a project called bitchimightbe. l used to have a noise band called scoughs. that was super rad. i play guitar mostly nowadays.
