Formed in late 2011, When Giants Sleep have honed in on their unique, roof-raising brand of Post Hardcore with their latest offering ‘Lucidity’ recorded and mixed by Stevie Knight at Electric Sun Studios in Sydney and released on March 26th, 2014.
Since their beginnings, When Giants Sleep have maintained a blistering rate of momentum, sharing stages around the country with household names such as Northlane, Dream On Dreamer, Buried In Verona, Hands Like Houses and Sienna Skies, as well as debuting their music video for the single ‘Reluctant Weather, Helpful Hands’ on BlankTV and performing on the Canberra stop of the Australian Vans Warped Tour in 2013.
Not shy of packing up the tour van, When Giants Sleep have won over audiences across Australia, showcasing their highly energetic live show to mouth watering audiences. Armed with an arsenal of infectiously catchy melodies and cataclysmic breakdowns, When Giants Sleep are being compared to bands such as The Getaway Plan, The Amity Affliction, Alexisonfire and more with their latest release.
The lads from the ACT tore up stages around Australia throughout April and May 2014 in celebration of the release of ‘Lucidity’, complemented by a film clip for the debut single ‘New Days’, filmed and directed by Chris Elder, released on March 17, 2014.
