I really loved Marty Wilde's records in the late fifties and early sixties as a teenager of about 14 to 17 so. Danny Boy was my favourite plus Sea of Love, Bad Boy and Teenager In Love. He ticks all the boxes as a person, family man, troubadour, and role model. I still love his music.

I remember buying this record, it still sounds just as good today. Marty Wilde is still performing to this very day. He still has a great voice.

On guitar was Big Jim Sullivan. UK acts were often culling hits from the US charts back then, but still had some first rate rock songs of their own and Bad Boy was one of a number such as Move It (Cliff Richard 1958), Shakin' All Over (Johnny Kidd and the Pirates 1960), Brad New Cadillac (Vince Taylor and his Playboys 1959). Good to know a few of us Yanks are finding early UK rock worth listening to as well.

I was eight years old when this came out, it sounded cool then and it still does today. Very gentle song from the late 1950s, a very different world from today.

Found the Single in the late 70's / early 80''s as well as the Its been nice single on Decca I think with the blue label / silver print and I was still at School around Ten years old but I was immediately hooked by Marty Wilde and his Wildcats

Great singer, but far from a Rocker, rather a pop singer of his time. Britain's no 1 rocker of this era has to be Vince Taylor who lived, slept and ate Rock n Roll and Rockabilly to the day he died, and produced a Rock n Roll anthem that has become one of the most covered songs in history "Brand New Cadillac"
