Blame It On Music

When the music changes so does the dance
Many of you will not be able to resist
Those who can't dance
Will blame it on the music
Blame it on the music those who can't dance
Will blame it on the music
At the rise of dawn we will vary our stance
Many of you will not be able to resist
Those who can't dance
Will blame it on the music
Many of you will not be able to resist
Those who can't dance
Will blame it on the music
Blame it on the music
The lyrics of "Blame It On Music" by Wildstylez explore the relationship between music and dancing, highlighting how music has the power to influence and shape our movements. The song suggests that when the music changes, our dance styles and approaches will vary as well, signifying the dynamic nature of both music and dance.
The opening lines, "At the rise of dawn we will vary our stance, when the music changes so does the dance," imply that as the day begins and the music evolves, so too will our physical postures and movements. This can be interpreted as a metaphor for adapting to new circumstances and embracing change. It suggests that music has the ability to provoke a response and create a different atmosphere, which in turn affects how we express ourselves through dance.
The lyrics also touch upon the notion that not everyone is naturally inclined to dance or possess the skills to do so. The line, "Many of you will not be able to resist, those who can't dance will blame it on the music," suggests that some individuals may use the music as an excuse for their own lack of dancing ability. It implies that blaming the music allows them to shift the responsibility away from themselves and attribute their inability to dance to external factors. Hence, they perceive the music as the reason for their ineptitude.
The repetition of the line "Blame it on the music" emphasizes this point further. It suggests that instead of accepting their own limitations or lack of practice, those who can't dance may place the blame solely on the music. This could be seen as a humorous way to acknowledge and address the self-consciousness or insecurities people might have about dancing, offering a lighthearted explanation for their lack of confidence on the dance floor.
In conclusion, Wildstylez's "Blame It On Music" explores the relationship between music and dance, highlighting how music has the ability to shape and influence our movements. The lyrics suggest that as the music evolves, so does our dance style, creating a dynamic interaction between the two. Additionally, the song addresses the notion that some individuals may use the music as an excuse for their lack of dancing ability, humorously suggesting that blaming the music allows them to avoid taking responsibility for their own limitations. Overall, the lyrics offer an insightful commentary on the connection between music and dance, as well as the role of self-perception and personal insecurities in our engagement with these art forms.
