What do you do in the nest?
Why don't you come out into the world?
You tied yourself up, and gonna sit there crying?
It makes you feel more depressed.
Build up your strength,
You have to fly for yourself.
Don't be afraid.
Believe in yourself.
it's gonna be fine.
What do you do in the nest?
Why don't you come out into the world?
You tied yourself up, and gonna sit there crying?
It makes you feel more depressed.
Build up your strength,
You have to fly for yourself.
Nothing could be worse than this.
Don't be afraid.
Believe in yourself.
it's gonna be fine.
Blue bird.
"The Bird" by Woo is a song that metaphorically compares the struggles of a blue bird in its nest to the challenges and fears that people face when they are hesitant to step out into the world and pursue their dreams. The lyrics question why the bird remains in the nest, tied up and crying, instead of embracing the world outside. The act of staying in the nest only deepens the bird's depression, highlighting the negative effects of self-imposed limitations and fears.
The song urges the bird, and by extension the listener, to build up strength and find the courage to fly. It emphasizes the importance of taking charge of one's own life and pursuing independence. The chorus repeats the message of not being afraid and having faith in oneself, assuring that everything will be alright.
Overall, the lyrics highlight the universal struggle of overcoming fear and self-doubt to step out of one's comfort zone and reach for new heights. The blue bird serves as a powerful symbol for individuals who may feel stuck or trapped, encouraging them to break free from their metaphorical nests and embrace the challenges and unknown possibilities of the world.
