I See You
Woody Van Eyden Alex M.O.R.P.H. Tiff Lacey Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Is this the end
Will I see you again
Will I see you again
So high
So high
You die
Tonight
So high
So high
Tonight's the night
When you're crying all alone
Still won't pick up the phone
Because no one wants to know
Slit your throat
Tie the rope
Nowhere to go
I'm all alone
When you're drowning in depression
And no one cares about the weapon
When you die they asking questions
And your dad teaches a lesson

Will I see you again
Will I see you again

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Woody Van Eyden Alex M.O.R.P.H. Tiff Lacey's song "I See You" seem to be about a person questioning their relationship with someone they care about. The repetition of the line "Will I see you again" implies that there is some uncertainty or doubt about whether they will be able to reconnect. The following lines, "So high, you die / Tonight's the night," suggest that they may be addressing someone who is struggling with substance abuse or addiction, and there is a sense of urgency to their words. The line "When you're drowning in depression / And no one cares about the weapon" further emphasizes the serious subject matter of the song, as it makes reference to suicide.

The chorus brings up the idea that the person they are speaking to is avoiding contact, "When you're crying all alone / Still won't pick up the phone / Because no one wants to know." The lines "Slit your throat / Tie the rope / Nowhere to go" continue to hint at dark themes and the severity of the situation.

The final lines of the song, "And your dad teaches a lesson / Will I see you again / Will I see you again," suggest that the person they are addressing may have passed away, and there is a feeling of regret or guilt about not being able to help or save them.

Overall, the song deals with heavy themes and emotions, and leaves a lot up to interpretation. It's a song that might resonate with people who have lost someone or struggled with addiction and mental health issues.

People now days think trance needs to be a "party" sound , but they don't know what trance really is. Its about the experience, euphoria, the feeling of being in a dream, and being able to make a story out of this beautiful song. THIS IS WHAT TRANCE IS....the greatest GENRE to ever exist. NOT BORING, BUT AMAZING!
