Oldschool goa band of Holger Buchholtz and Thorsten Janert producing mostly under Nephilim Records. X.I.S. stands for Xploring Inner Space. Rooting in 1996 they appeared on many compilations in 90s. Made two albums. First album is 2 cds of deep organic goa trance, second is chilled out and consist of psychill and downtempo parts with some faster jungle rhythms in several tracks. They also had side-project called Gangnia, which is a bit deeper and minimalistic goa.

The lyrics of X.I.S.'s song Daydream seem to describe the musings of someone who is missing their loved one. The opening lines detail a night where the moon seems to have disappeared and the singer is left in a dark room, hoping to hear the voice of the person who they long for. However, the answer to whether they will be able to hear their voice again is uncertain, and the singer feels like it might all just be a hope that's too good to be true.
In the following lines, the singer talks about how people keep talking about them after they've left, and how the words of comfort they offer may or may not be true. However, the singer seems to have found a way to move on from reality and towards their dreams where they can be with their love. The lyrics then take a turn towards references to the movie The Great Gatsby, and how the choice of whether what they are experiencing is a fantasy or a lunacy is irrelevant.
The chorus repeats the theme of the singer's daydreams where they kiss their loved one good night and plead for them to stay, never to leave. The lyrics end with the repeated chorus and an "oh" that seems to indicate an unresolved longing.
