Elevation
Xpansions Lyrics

Lady, would you lay?
Lady, would you lay?
I'll rub them all away
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely places all away
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely
I wanna rub your loneliness away
Last night I think I fell in love with you
It was from a window watching you around my way
I was too shy to even call to you
So I wrote some words that made it easier to say
Lady, would you lay?
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely places all away
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely
I wanna rub your loneliness away
Visions of you around my bed
Nothing but roses when you rest your lovely head
And I'll put my everything in you
You know I'm the only one who knows just what to do, lady
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely places all away
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely
I wanna rub your loneliness away
You've waited, oh so long for me to come your way
But now I'm here and sadness is gone away
Lay lady lay, lay, won't you lay with me?
Lady, would you lay?
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely places all away
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely
I wanna rub your loneliness away
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely places all away
Lady, lay your body
Let me rub the lonely
I wanna rub your loneliness away

All away
Hey hey, I wanna rub them all away

Young folks like us dont have to be there to "get it"... cant control when we're born but it is a privilege to hear a recording this good, i was born in 1990!!!!

NONE of this track was 'borrowed' mate apart from the intro synth sample underneath the beat that was also changed from 'Rose Royce' sample from 'Is it love your after or just a good time' and NOT from S Express as a lot of people thought in fact they copied it from us check it out. I know I recorded the original 'Move your body' (Elevation) in/at my studio Synchronize Music London back in the day. Martin Spreakly was the main man behind this all time classic dance hit with our help.

Great time to live thru, as good as anything the 60's created, I remember seeing a ticket stub to a Stones concert from from like 65-66, and it had on the ticket, all night rave, ha ha that made me laugh that they used the same descriptions 20+ years before that we used.

Love it when people who were involved in these tracks pop up in comments. Even if I'm a decade late.

OMG! I taped this off the Chicago airwaves in 1990 and listened to it on many a euphoric session, at home and flying down the endless freeways of the Midwest, but never knew who made it or what it was called. Thanks for the upload, which really brings back some seriously happy memories for this poet of the sky, this strange American Ariel.

@johnmodel500 and even after thirty plus years there are still a few dozen magical tracks that I'm still trying to pin down. Maybe the mystery is meant to be...
