These days, after many years of maturation, Kraus is releasing her debut solo album, titled “Boutique”. The album mainly consists of Kraus’s personal creative work, which initially started during her stay in New York City, and was finally finished when she relocated to Israel. Thus, it is highly influenced by the colorful, rich with temptation, vital NYC urban life, which can get distant and lonely at times.
The Album, “Boutique”, features Kraus’s fragile and magical voice, which consist of powerful lyrics and strong vocal performances. It has a dash of middle-eastern touch, gentle intimate flair, flirtatious vibe, and arrangements that surround the listener with great fantasy.
"Boutique" was produced by a NYC based composer and pianist, Daniel Koren, who pampered the album with endless sensitivity and creativity. The album was co-composed largely with Ben Handler, and was mixed by Tamir Muskat ("Balkan Beat Box").

Yael Kraus Lyrics

aren't you just afraid of leting me go?
aren't you just afraid of brozing me?
there are ways to treat a froghiled girl.
if you let me walk at the dawn
if you let me walk at the dawn
why
why
every time we try I?
(why every time we try I?)
why
why
why
every time we try I
I
end up on the floor
aren't you tired of all abusing me?
don't we need to fight and make up all night love?
aren't you strong enough for holding me?
don't you love all those dramatic girls?
if you let me walk at the dawn
if you let me walk at the dawn
why
why
why
every time we try I?
(why every time we try I?)
why
why
why
every time we try I
I
end up on the floor
The song "Floor" by Yael Kraus is a beautiful ballad that explores the complicated and often fraught nature of relationships. The lyrics are layered with meaning, and the singer asks poignant questions that reveal a great deal about her emotional state. The first verse of the song asks if her partner is afraid of losing her, afraid of letting her go, or afraid of hurting her. The singer then goes on to say that there are ways to treat a "froghiled" girl, which presumably means someone who is uncertain or afraid.
In the chorus, the singer repeats the phrase "if you let me walk at the dawn" and then asks why they always end up on the floor every time they try to make it work. The second verse begins with the question of whether the partner is tired of abusing her, and then asks if they need to fight and makeup all night in order to truly love one another. The final question of the song asks if the partner is strong enough to hold her, or if they only love dramatic girls.
Overall, the lyrics suggest a relationship that is characterized by uncertainty and fear. The singer is asking for honest communication and a willingness to try new approaches in order to make the relationship work. However, the repeated refrain of ending up on the floor suggests that despite the effort, the relationship is doomed to fail.
