Ryan got in touch a while ago to say he was a fan of our music, I'd been an admirer of his work so we met up and we instantly hit it off. As a band we've always wanted to use choreography in a video - something that was a bit more unusual and I knew Ryan would be the guy to work with. The initial idea came from the meaning of the song, feeling controlled by somebody and wanting them to let you go. I remember when this came out and it was on my top play list. I had friends that lived about 3 hours away from me in Toronto and whenever I drove to visit them I would intentionally use the back roads on the country side with my car sun roof wide opened, blasting this song plus my other favorites. I believe this is first single released by Years & Years into the mainstream, to me it's a masterpiece and still the best song they've ever done, everything about it is perfection.
