Hoo, ooh, ooh ooh
Whoa hoo, ooh
Hmm
Ooh oh oh yeah
These lyrics, from the song "Love It" by Young L.O.R.D. featuring Rob Jackson and Jup, express the complexity of love and the desire to experience it once again. The opening lines convey the hesitation and fear of giving one's heart away and the uncertainty of what one will receive in return. The lyrics then reminisce about a past time when love felt like a miracle, but now it feels like a season that has passed. Despite this, there is still a longing to meet someone and experience love all over again.
The chorus emphasizes that the feeling of excitement and fluttering in the heart is still present. It suggests that ultimately, everyone has the same desire for love, and even though there may be tiring days and long periods of loneliness, these are just passing things. The lyrics express the desire to turn a corner and meet someone once again, reaffirming that it is love that they seek.
The bridge of the song acknowledges the constant presence of a restless heart that refuses to fall asleep. It speaks of momentarily forgetting about the heart's longing but realizing that it is not the end, and that there is still more love to come. The lyrics express the idea that love is a bigger world, where two people can look into each other's eyes, hold each other's hands, grow old together, and be together until the end.
Overall, "Love It" captures the yearning for love and the belief that, despite past disappointments, love is still worth pursuing.
