On February 22, 2019, she made her solo debut with her first digital single "Neon" which later showed up on the tracklist of her debut album "SOUL LADY", released on July 21, 2020. The following year, she released her first extended play, "timeabout,", on April 7, 2021. It had two singles; "Lovemonth" and "Insomnia". Throughout 2021 and 2022, she released a multitude of collaborations and droplet singles.
On December 1st, 2023 she released her last project "Time-Lapse", a remake city-pop album with some of her own songs. She wishes everyone to enjoy it for a lifetime.

I see I'm not the only one coming here to publicly mourn the end of her contract with Estimate Entertainment. They were such an amazing match for each other, and we can only speculate as to why she decided to not renew her contract. Maybe she'll do gaming streaming from now on, as that seems to be the direction she's headed. I want her to be happy doing whatever she wants, but this is a devastating loss for all of us City Pop fans.
I have been listening to City Pop since the 80's (when I was a teenager), and over the decades, there has NEVER been anyone like Kika, with her lovable and down-to-earth personality, pleasing vocal tone, or the perfect match of a company like Estimate, with extremely high quality songs and impeccably tasteful productions and creative direction.
Soul Lady is my album of the year and it's probably my all-time favorite City Pop album, which is saying a lot, considering I've been a huge fan of City Pop since the mid 80's and have heard so many City Pop songs and albums.
If this is the end of her career as a singer, then I just want to say, THANK YOU, Kika, and Estimate Entertainment, for the masterpieces you have created together that's brought so many people so much joy.
Kika, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, and whatever you choose to do in the future, I wish you happiness.
