Yukon Blonde Lyrics

I'm into you
and we've been talking all night
my lips are sealed
i said a ton
so you should shine that bright light
the coffee's cold
the silver's old
you stare at me
you say a ton
but the words don't fit right
girl you oughta know
that we'd wait out in the sun
darlin
oh
you gotta a heart
that couldn't waste anymore
and you oughta know
that you are so cold
into the dark
we will go
your cold green eyes
are givin me nothing
i can chew
and you can scream your heart out
cuz it's everything you do
girl you know do it too
girl you oughta know
that we'd wait out in the sun
darlin
oh
you gotta a heart
that couldn't waste anymore
and you oughta know
that you are so cold
into the dark
we will go
The lyrics of "Brides Song" by Yukon Blonde are somewhat enigmatic and can be interpreted in many ways. At its core though, the song seems to convey a sense of intimacy and vulnerability between two individuals who are trying to understand each other better. The singer seems to be saying that he has said enough about himself and is now interested in what the other person has to say. He suggests that the other person should "shine that bright light" and reveal who they are.
The singer also seems to be aware of the passing of time, as he notes that the coffee is cold, the silver is old, and the wait is all night. This could be interpreted as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life and relationships. The singer then tells the other person that they have a heart that couldn't waste any more time and that they are so cold.
The final lines of the song, "into the dark we will go", suggest that the two individuals are heading into unknown territory together, perhaps in search of a deeper connection or greater understanding. Overall, the song explores themes of vulnerability, intimacy, and the importance of communication and understanding in relationships.

From singapore. Bought the album online after listening to this and Wind Blows. this Canadian indie rock music is really clear, genuine, free. It's refreshing to hear it with so much modern music from the big names flooding youtube :]]

I heard this song on Chuck's Day Off, Food Network. He has some really awesome music in the background. Like Yukon Blonde, Zeus and others. The kind of great music, you would never hear on the radio.
