I was super angry when I finished watching the Re7 ending gameplay. I thought Zoe was just abandoned there. And it turns out I was wrong anyway.
Ethan kept his promise and helped her. I'm really satisfied now. She didn't get enough screentime, but I liked Zoe as a character, and I think she endured a Lot seeing her family descend into degenerate madness.
She deserves a Happy ending, and I'm so glad they did this.

One thing I noticed, Jack never actually crumbles like the others. He does calcify, (twice!) but he never actually crumbles into pieces like Marguerite or Eveline, even in this dlc, where it's supossed to be his final death. Maybe he'l come back someday. Maybe we'll see his story come to a close.

It's kind of interesting how at the beginning of RE7, Zoe acts in the same guiding yet distant way for Ethan as Ada did for Leon back in RE2, while later on those roles are reversed for Ethan and Zoe but with a more concerned and caring tone to match Ethan's character.

Those soldiers were Blue Umbrella, not BSAA (Chris' men). Chris couldn't care less about Blue Umbrella, so them dying wouldn't matter. Either way, Swamp Jack would've killed them as soon as they reached Zoe anyhow.

The whole time I played End of Zoe and saw how Joe cared for Zoe I couldn't stop thinking: "Where the hell was he in the last three years?" And the developers don't even bother explaining that. It makes Joe's introduction look really artificial and as an afterthought (which it is but still). That could be solved easily if they simply explained that he was in jail. We all see how hot tempered Joe is so it wouldn't be unplausable to believe that he has beaten someone to death or something and was arrested before the events of the main game. I would be totally fine with that. Instead it's like they want us to belive that he was just a few miles away from the Baker ranch but never bothered to show up for a visit or to investigate his family's disappearance.

Back when Ethan defeated jack, jack solidified but never broke to pieces unlike with his wife (forgot her name) so i guess he broke out somehow and mutated with bugs? I don't know
