Lyrics By Richard Zhu
The edge of every dream has a name
The name is filled with daily life
But Eventually some day the birds will fly
Pain and struggle difficulties that we feel
The scars however need to be healed
Blood and sweat and tears created us
Don’t rely on luck but to step on every road
Watch the light of stars coming down
Want to keep the memories with clouds
Singing loud with my heart
Till the streets light all goes out
Fill the every moment of of my life
Time is passing But we cannot fight the fact
So try to capture all the minds
Feel and listen to the talk of day and night
Nothing weighs more precious than the journey
Watch the light of stars coming down
Want to keep the memories with clouds
Singing loud with my heart
Till the streets light all goes out
Fill the every moment of of my life
The opening lyrics of ZHU's song "Intro" are a reflection on the human experience. Each of us has felt fear, pain, loss, or disappointment at some point in our lives, and at times we have gone to bed with these feelings. Despite this, we all awaken and rise again. The lyrics acknowledge the resilience of the human spirit, our ability to persevere in the face of adversity. The lines "wherever that abides in the human being, there is the nobleness of the human spirit" suggest that this resilience is an innate part of being human.
The second half of the lyrics introduce a call to action. The phrase "Sing to him, new soul" is potentially addressed to the listener, urging them to embrace a new sense of self or a new perspective. This is followed by an incomplete lyric, possibly read as "Celebrate your… and shout for joy". The missing word leaves the interpretation open to the listener. This call to celebrate and find joy in our experiences mirrors the acknowledgement of resilience in the first half of the song.
