This song would be absolutely amazing... if it was someone like Weird All Yankovic singing it. I love the Zac Brown Band and think they are one of the best bands currently around. Certainly they are all super talented and accomplished musicians. And I've very much enjoyed when they go out of the box and experiment with new sounds. But, this? Even if its a joke song? Wow. So unexpected... in all the wrong ways. Anyways... I will always be a big fan. This is an amazing band nonetheless. And all great bands have one or two thrash songs and a bad album. Is all part of the band's evolution and growth. We can't expect Zac to keep writing the same song over and over again. We know he is great anyways.

Wow this video has almost as many dislikes as likes at the time of my comment. I personally laughed my butt off at this video. My wife's Uncle died today while visiting his family and my friend and father-in-law was left in charge of his will and arrangements. I turned this song on and for a few minutes the Covid 19 and the passing of Ronald Deel didn't hold my emotions and thoughts captive so harshly. If you don't like this that's fine, you are entitled to your opinion but as a singer songwriter myself I'm reminded of a statement made about Ronnie Van Zant which said he was bold and didn't care to share what he thought and how he felt with others. It's easy to create something. It's hard to put yourself out there and be judged by the masses. Zac was in a bad place in his life when he came up with this and perhaps this song was more for himself than it was for you. Actually, I think I can say that most all singers who write, write for themselves and then hope someone likes it later. Some don't even care that some hate it. God Bless and Thank you Zac Brown for this entertaining amusement, and for finally changing your look a little. I look a lot like you and I often wear a head-sock or toboggan and when you became famous I think people who hadn't known me thought I was trying to be you when they first met me. After that though as I often wear bandanas on stage and sometimes would go out and stop at a store on the way to a gig kids would come up for the longest time and I was either Zac Brown, Willie Robertson or the guy from Union Station who sang Man of Constant Sorrow. I get it from a rebellious point of view. All of the comments keep referencing Chicken Fried as the essence of what his sound was before but it’s not. ZBB only was only marketed as country.
