Most US homes only have 15 AMP breakers on a bedroom or Family room circuit. Generally only Kitchen and AC outlets are 20A. So 15 AMP rating for the box is perfect. I use the ADJ PC-100A on my desk to turn on/off Yamaha sound monitors and 3 Video Monitors. Makes it easy at the end of the day just to power down ALL hardware quick and easily. Never had an issue with the switches and mine has to be 5 years old. Switches are toggled daily.

@robertharker

bought a similar used 8 circuit unit with a bad circuit. The circuit had melted plastic on the rear outlet which means to me, long term over current. This is possible because the unit only has a master 15A breaker, not individual 10A breakers on each circuit. My guess was a big power amp plugged into the bad circuit driven hard. Not enough to trip the master breaker, but enough to melt the individual outlet.
I use mine for the same thing you do, turning on and off my LED video lights. Great video. Thanks.

Melting does seem to be the thing with these, power amps and conventional lighting fixtures are not it's friends. I think I remember Tripp Lite making a version back in the day to sit under CRT monitors on the desk, and they were super robust. I'd like to find one of those at the thrift store for a look inside.

I would love to see more videos about the Wing :)

Virtually all technicians I know do not believe in the resistance of rocker switches. I also don't believe them.
In a situation where I need to control small loads at 230 volts from a central location, I prefer to use relays for this purpose, whose reliability is usually much higher than rocker switches.
It is more expensive but it is, by far, the best solution for my personal taste. I prefer to control loads with 12 volt relays than to switch the power right next to me.
Power switching at 230 volts ... well away from my desk!

Back in the days when conventional fixtures were all the small operators could get, these poor switch units took a beating. I sold sound gear at a mom & pop music store in the late 90's and these were a popular repair drop off on Sunday mornings. DJ's would have par cans and old disco lights going on these switches in a sea of extension cords and it never ended well.

@AngelRamirezLobo

I have an Eliminator E107 controller with 8 switches, one of the switches works but the red light no longer turns on indicating that it is on, how can I check if it is a loose cable or the bulb is damaged?

@revoxjazz8317

This is a good video!
Keep it up!

@DcSoundOp

Thanks Macedo & hello in Portugal... I still remember visiting your country as a kid on summer holiday from Ireland in the early 80's. Hope to visit again someday. Thanks for the message.
