That was 4 years ago. Since then, he’s played around 200 shows in cities all over the UK, toured Germany twice, Ireland once and played 8 shows in Russia. Fondest memories include; a crowd of 50 people in a Berlin living room, a sold out venue in St. Petersburg, a folk festival in Vienna and 4 people in a living room in Bath. He has performed at such prestigious venues as Brighton’s Pressure Point, Camden’s Dublin Castle and Proud Galleries and headlined London’s legendary Hope and Anchor.
anthony.love has an entirely DIY approach. Up until now, his career has been completely independent, he designs flyers, t-shirts and CD artwork, runs his own website, books trains, flights, studios and his own shows. He has self-produced and self-released 3 EPs, 2 of which are now sold out. These releases were very well-received, with reviewers calling him “a champion of acoustic melodrama” (Herts and Essex Music-Zine) and “an effortless but perfect alternative singer-songwriter” (Kissing Just For Practice Zine). Alongside this, his name has appeared in the pages of The Londonpaper, The Fly and NME.
In December 2010 anthony.love went into the studio to record his debut single, ‘Sebastian’s a Killer’. The finished product will be released in spring 2011. It will be followed by the recording of a debut album in July/August 2011, with release expected in early 2012.
This Town

You made a million volts of energy go through me
The next morning it all got so weird
You absolutely disappeared
And now you're walking down the street as if you never knew me
Are all the girls in this town like you?
Are all the girls in this town like you?
I traveled twenty seven hundred miles for your kiss
You took me back home to your apartment
We made love like you owed me two months' rent
Now it turns out that I was nothing but a tourist
Are all the girls in this town like you?
Are all the girls in this town like you?
Forgive me if I thought that what we felt was real
You seem to shrug it off like it was no big deal
I'm sorry darling but that just isn't the way I feel
Maybe I'm giving what we did way too much value
We don't do things like what we did because we have to
I guess I'm blown away by how things went
You were absolutely heaven sent
I meet a girl like you, she's usually a statue
Are all the girls in this town like you?
Are all the girls in this town like you?
Are all the girls in this town like you?
Are all the girls in this town like you?
Are all the girls in this town like you?
Are all the girls in this town like you?
