On January 1st 2009, cocklobin held their first concert as a band, at Takadanobaba AREA in Shinjuku, Tokyo. cocklobin were opening act for 9GOATS BLACK OUT and Sugar. cocklobin released their first mini-album "DARK DESIGN CATALOG" on June 29th 2009 in Japan only. The mini-album included 5 songs.
In September, their two support members, HISAKI on bass and キリ on drums, joined cocklobin as official members, they also re-released their mini-album "DARK DESIGN CATALOG" in regular CD-shops in Japan on September 9th.
In November 2009 the band released "black", their first single including three tracks.
cocklobin released their 2nd mini-album "死と再生" on March 24th, 2010, which included 6 new songs. In April, cocklobin had a coupling tour with 9GOATS BLACK OUT in Japan. Shorty after that they went on a hiatus.

This band is seriously amazing! Definitely one of the BEST VK groups, and of course hailing from the all awesome Nagoya Kei genre. I feel Cocklobin is one of the most promising bands in current VK/Jrock :)

wow I avoided this for so long just because of the name of the band haha but it would always pop up in the sidebar beside the videos I was watching (usually 9goats blackout and deadman stuff) but now I finally just gave it a listen and its actually a pretty decent song, like the main riff and the background vocals during it weren't as annoying as I thought they'd be when I first heard it
